If you’re looking for an Airtime Rewards promo code then I’ve got you covered. You can use my code: YKQDXNCK. But before you dive in, find out exactly what the app has to offer, by reading my review below.
How does Airtime Rewards work?
Airtime Rewards is a cashback app connects with your bank card. It is free to download and very simple to set up and use.
You earn cashback by shopping with partnered retailers, which can then be used to pay your mobile phone bill. People often hear that explanation, yet ask but ask again: How does Airtime Rewards work? But there’s no complex explanation. It really is very simple.
Is Airtime Rewards safe?
Understandably, you may be worrying about linking your bank card with a third-party app, but the company is PCI Compliant and it’s partnered with Visa and Mastercard.
Airtime Rewards says: “to earn rewards you’ll need to link your debit or credit card to the app. This is so we can automatically reward you every time you shop. Your security is our top priority and your card details are kept secure and encrypted.”
On top of this, Airtime Rewards has a five-star rating on Trustpilot, with over 2,000 positive reviews and it has a similar review record on the App Store and Google Play. Still not convinced? Well the site has been given the seal of approval by money-saving guru Martin Lewis.
How does it work?
You can download the Airtime Rewards app for free, onto your phone via either Google Play (for Android users), or the App Store (for iPhone users). You then open up the app and link it with your bank card.
Once your card has been registered (you’ll need to pair it with a Visa and Mastercard), you just shop as usual and earn cashback. It’s really very simple to set up and then becomes a passive way of earning a few extra pennies.
When you hit £10 in cashback, you can claim the money back against your phone bill. It’s that simple!
Using an Airtime Rewards promo code when you sign up
Make sure you use a code when you sign up, for an additional sign-up bonus!
Mine is: YKQDXNCK.
Adding the rewards promo code
To add the rewards promo code, you just need to download the app and add that code in the ‘promo code’ box, which you’ll find in the ‘more’ section of the app.
It is always worth getting that code, because through that, you will get a welcome bonus just for signing up!
What phone networks are partnered with Airtime Rewards?
The app connects to the following phone networks:
- Asda Mobile
- EE (including Plusnet)
- giffgaff (pay-as-you-go only)
- Lebara Mobile
- Lycamobile
- Now PAYG
- O2
- Three
- Virgin Mobile
- Vodafone
If your network isn’t listed, don’t worry. This list is being updated all of the time, so hopefully you’ll be able to use an Airtime Rewards promo code soon!
Airtime Rewards partners
The list of Airtime Rewards partners changes frequently. Here are some of my favourite retailers, which all appeared at the time of writing:
- Asda
- Argos
- Boots
- Charlotte Tilbury
- Clarks
- Coach
- Greggs
- Mamas & Papas
- Matalan
- Misguided
- MuscleFood
- New Look
- Primark
- The White Company
- Wilko
The rate of cahsback does vary and it’s linked to the amount you send. It is often a percentage of the overall amount.
You will get the cashback by shopping in person, or via partner websites.
Will I get my own promo code?
Once you have signed up using my Airtime Rewards promo code (YKQDXNCK) you will receive your own Airtime Rewards promo to share with others. You will then get at least £1 for every person that you successfully refer.
Where will I find my code?
Click on the ‘more’ section of the app and tap the ‘share & earn’ button. You will then be presented with a referral code, which you can either copy, or share a link to. You’ll usually get a reward for them signing up and then an additional kickback when they make their first purchase. But the amounts vary, so check them before sharing to find out what you can expect to receive.
Where can codes be shared?
You can share your sign-up promo code with friends and family. If you have a following on social media, then it may be worth promoting the app there too. You do benefit from people signing up, but so does the person, as this is a really simple way of making some extra passive cash.
If you do decide to share your code, then make sure you add a hashtag. That way, days or weeks after you’ve posted, people who are searching for a Airtime Rewards referral can find yours.
Do I need promo codes very time I shop?
No, you don’t need to use any specific voucher codes to earn airtime rewards. You just link your card up and visit the shop as usual.
Once you’ve set the app up, the money you earn become passive. I actually forget about it, until I occasionally log back on, view the report and see that I’ve earned cahsback.
An additional Airtime Rewards promo
Each month, the Airtime Reward team will run an extra deals that will enable you to earn even more. These deals usually involve you opting in to a spending challenge on the app. Then, if you spend, say three times within that month, you’ll earn some extra cash as a bonus.
It is worth opting into these extra challenges, just in case you do happen to spend enough to trigger the cashback bonus. But I would never sign up to the promo and then spend extra cash just to trigger it.
Is the Airtime Rewards discount worth it?
I’m often dubious when I hear about the latest money making (or saving) hack, but this one is legit. The app is free, simple to use, your details are secure and you don’t have to think about it once its set up. Just wait for the cashback to roll in.
You don’t get a special Airtime Rewards discount from retailers, nor are you eligible for Airtime Rewards deals when you shop, but you do earn cashback that you can spend against your mobile phone bill. Even if it’s just a few pennies that you get back, it’s worth having, because it all adds up, which is why I think apps like this are a no brainer! Why wouldn’t you get free money if you’re able to?
So download the app today, using my Airtime Rewards promo code (YKQDXNCK and start earning money back to go towards your phone bill.
