Affiliate / referral links
Any, or all, of the posts on my website may feature affiliate / referral links. This allows me to receive money, in exchange for readers clicking a link or signing up to a service. In the name of transparency, each post has a warning at the top which reads: ‘This post may contain affiliate links’.
My advertising partners include, but aren’t limited to, Awin and Amazon Associates. This means I earn from qualifying purchases, at no extra cost to you.
Each advertiser I work with has been handpicked to fit in with the brand and general ethos of Stapo’s thrifty life hacks.
Sponsored / collaborative posts
All posts reflect my personal opinion and they will be written by me (unless otherwise stated). If I have been paid to feature an article then it will be clearly marked with the word ‘collaboration’. Items that have been given to me for free will be marked with the word ‘gifted’.
If I advertise an item on my social channels then I will mark it as ‘#AD’ if I received payment. It will be marked as ‘#Gifted’ if I have been sent the item for free.
Adverts
Occasionally, you will see an advert on this page. That will be clearly marketed as an ‘ad’. If something is marked as an ‘ad’ then I received payment, but the content is still in line with my thoughts and opinions.
Guest posts
Occasionally I will give fellow bloggers the opportunity to write a guest post on my site. I do not receive reimbursement for these posts.
Competitions
Sometimes I take part in competitions with other bloggers. I have not been paid to do this and I contribute towards the winner’s prize.
Product reviews
I will only publish honest reviews and I will not be influenced by a payment or a gift. I will include links where appropriate (including affiliate links).
Subscribing
When you subscribe to the Stapo’s thrifty life hacks newsletter, you are required to double opt-in. This means that you will be sent an email confirmation and your subscription will not be effective until you click on that link.
By subscribing you are agreeing to occasionally receive a newsletter or a special offer. These special offers might come from third parties who I have teamed up with, but they will not have access to your name or email address, unless you decide to sign up with that company directly.
You can unsubscribe at any time by clicking on the ‘unsubscribe’ button at the bottom of the email you receive. Or you can email me at claire@staposthriftylifehacks.co.uk asking to be removed.
